If Autism Spectrum Disorder is a possible
diagnosis for your child, we do a full
evaluation and often administer a full
battery of tests before making a diagnosis
or initiating treatment. Autism Spectrum
Disorder is a neurological disorder present
from early childhood that affects many
areas of a child's life, particularly social
functioning. Behaviors associated with
Autism Spectrum Disorder range from
mild symptoms at one end of the spectrum
such as poor social skills, difficulties with nonverbal communication and clumsiness to more severe symptoms at the other end such as developmental delays and severe impairment in social and daily functioning.
At LifeGrowth, we have over 40 years of combined experience in helping families cope with the unique challenges of parenting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We understand the broad needs your child has from social and school to family dynamics. We also realize that treatment has to be tailored to the unique personality and needs of your child. That's why we offer comprehensive support and treatment, including a social skills group and a parent support group.
